Steps to request the Bus

As from 1 January 2025 the bus service can only be requested online. We are also introducing a new ticketing system: tickets will cost €5 or $6, which includes a €2 bus fare and a €3 voucher redeemable at the bar or shop. More information will be provided at the Seafarers' Centre.

1. Enter the request page https://connect.depolder.be/seamen before 17:00 hrs.

2. Fill in the required data: your name, vessel name, berth, number of passengers.

Find your designated bus pickup berth and access your gate by clicking here

3. Next to Berth you will find a drop-down list of pickup stops and times. Click on the appropriate stop to see the pickup time. Pickup time will vary between 18:15 and 19:18 hrs. depending on the stop. All stops are outside the terminal main gate with the exception of 621 (Advario Stolthaven), 1235 (ICO) and 1333 (AET) where the bus will pick up at or nearby the vessel. 4. Finalize the request by clicking on Register.

5. If there are requests for pickup, then return from seafarers’ centre to ship at 23:00 hrs.

The city center is easily accessible from Seafarers' Welfare / Antwerp Harbour Hotel ( AHH).

Openbaar vervoer

Op de Groenendaellaan, gelegen tegenover het Antwerp Seafarers' Welfare/AHH, rijdt tram 6 iedere 10 minuten richting Centraal Station. / Sportpaleis.

Op de Noorderlaan stopt ook iedere 10 minuten tram 1 en rijdt richting Opera/Zuid.

Aan dezelfde halte stoppen ook diverse buslijnen die alle richting Centrum (Rooseveltplaats) rijden. In de weekenden kunnen de wachttijden iets langer zijn.

Zorg voor een geldig vervoersbewijs.

Aan de Welfare Shop en de receptie AHH zijn tickets te koop aan €5 (retourticket). Als alternatief zijn er 10-rittenkaarten beschikbaar voor €17, die door meerdere personen kunnen worden gedeeld.
