Sea Sunday 2025

This year, Antwerp’s Sint Pauluskerk and Sint-Bartholomeuskerk proudly join forces with Stella Maris to celebrate Sea Sunday – a special day when churches around the world pray for and thank the brave seafarers and fishers who keep our global economy moving.

After Mass, Let’s Set Sail in Spirit!
Following the Mass in both churches, buses will take registered participants to the Antwerp Seafarers Centre at the Antwerp Harbour Hotel (Noorderlaan 100, Antwerpen). There, you’ll get an exclusive visit to the Seafarers Club, enjoy drinks and a delicious variety of warm snacks – including Asian flavors – and meet the faces behind the work at sea.

Coming by Car?
No problem! Those who prefer to drive can come by their own car – there’s plenty of free parking available in and around the venue.

• Date: Sunday, 13 July 2025
• Departure: After Mass from Sint-Paulus & Sint-Bartholomeus
• Arrival at Stella Maris: From 12:00 noon
• Cost: €10 minimum contribution (includes transport & lunch)

  • In your email, please mention which church you are departing from (Saint Paul’s or Saint Bartholomew’s), and whether you will be traveling by bus or on your own.
